These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the Glow Skin Lab website located at https://www.glowskinlabsa.com (the "Site"), including our online booking portal, online store, and any purchases made through them. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Not Medical Advice

The content on this Site, including text, graphics, images, before and after photos, and other material, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. It is not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or consultation. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or a cosmetic concern. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this Site.

No Provider Patient Relationship

Use of this Site, including submitting a contact form, booking online, or requesting a consultation, does not establish a provider patient relationship. That relationship is formed only once you have been evaluated and formally accepted as a patient by one of our licensed providers during a scheduled in person appointment.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book services or make purchases through this Site. Patients under 18 may be treated only with the consent and in person participation of a parent or legal guardian, and only for services our providers determine to be appropriate. We reserve the right to decline treatment to anyone when, in our clinical judgment, a service is not appropriate or safe.

Appointment Requests and Scheduling

Submitting a request through the Site does not guarantee an appointment time or date. All appointments are subject to confirmation and to provider availability. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately rather than using this Site, the online booking portal, or text messaging.

New patients booking a treatment will be prompted to schedule a consultation first. Consultation and treatment can often be completed on the same day, subject to your provider confirming that the treatment is appropriate after evaluating you.

Scheduling Fee, Cancellations, and No Shows

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. The following policies apply to all appointments booked online, by phone, or in person:

  • Scheduling fee: A $75 scheduling fee is required at the time of booking. This fee is applied toward the cost of your treatment when the appointment is kept.

  • Cancellations: Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Your $75 scheduling fee is applied toward that fee, and the remaining $25 is charged to the card on file.

  • No shows: Clients who do not arrive for a scheduled appointment are subject to a $150 no-show fee. Your $75 scheduling fee is applied toward that fee, and the remaining $75 is charged to the card on file.

  • Late arrivals: Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit the appointment, at the discretion of our team, and the cancellation or no-show fee may apply.

By booking an appointment, you authorize us to charge the card you provide for any scheduling fee, cancellation fee, or no-show fee that applies. Exceptions for genuine emergencies are made case by case at the discretion of Glow Skin Lab management.

Results and Individual Outcomes

Aesthetic and medical spa treatments produce results that vary from person to person. Before and after photos, testimonials, and reviews shown on this Site or on our social media reflect the experience of individual patients and are not a promise, guarantee, or prediction of the results you will achieve. Factors such as skin type, anatomy, age, medical history, product selection, and adherence to aftercare all affect outcomes. Some treatments require a series of sessions or maintenance to sustain results, and any risks, side effects, and expected outcomes will be reviewed with you during your consultation and informed consent process.

Pricing, Promotions, and Specials

Prices displayed on the Site and in the booking portal are subject to change without notice and do not include applicable taxes unless stated. Final pricing for injectable treatments depends on the number of units or syringes used and is confirmed by your provider at the time of service. Promotions, specials, event pricing, and referral offers are valid only for the dates and terms stated, cannot be combined with other offers unless we say otherwise, and may be modified or ended at any time. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, including after an order has been submitted.

Payments and Online Purchases

Payments made through the Site, the online store, and our booking portal are processed by third party payment providers, including our practice management and payment platform. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers. Your use of those payment tools is subject to the provider's own terms and privacy practices in addition to ours. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

Memberships, Packages, Gift Cards, and Retail

  • Services, packages, series, and prepaid treatments are non-refundable once purchased. Unused prepaid services may be applied toward another service of equal value at our discretion.

  • Memberships bill on a recurring basis at the interval disclosed at signup and continue until canceled. Membership benefits, credits, and pricing apply only while the membership is active and in good standing.

  • To cancel a membership, written notice is required at least 30 days before your next billing date. Membership fees already billed are non-refundable.

  • Gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law, and do not expire except as permitted by Texas law.

  • Retail and medical grade skincare products may be exchanged, or returned for store credit, within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase, provided the product is unopened and unused. Opened or used products cannot be returned for health and safety reasons. If you experience a reaction to a product, contact us so a provider can evaluate you and we will address it case by case.

Online Booking Account and Patient Portal

Access to our booking portal, patient portal, and mobile app is subject to separate login credentials and security measures. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information, for the accuracy of the medical and contact information you provide, and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Text Messages and Communications

By providing your mobile number, you agree that we may contact you by call or text regarding appointments, confirmations, reminders, aftercare, and, where you have opted in, promotions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of promotional texts. Opting out of marketing does not stop appointment related messages tied to your care. Text and email are not secure channels, so please do not send sensitive medical details or photos through them.

Reviews, Photos, and Submitted Content

If you submit a review, comment, photo, or other content to us or to our social media accounts, you grant Glow Skin Lab a non-exclusive, royalty free license to display and share that content in connection with our practice. This does not apply to clinical or before and after photographs taken during your care, which are protected health information and are used publicly only with your separate written authorization as described in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, logos, images, photography, and design, is the property of Glow Skin Lab or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Product and treatment names referenced on this Site are trademarks of their respective owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Third Party Platforms and Links

Online booking, intake forms, clinical records, and payments are handled through Zenoti, our HIPAA compliant practice management and electronic medical record platform. When you book or complete forms, you are transacting within that secure platform and your use of it is subject to its terms in addition to ours. This Site may also contain links to other third party websites, such as payment processors, financing partners, and product manufacturers. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of information on those external sites.

Our public website is not a HIPAA compliant channel for medical information. Please do not submit medical details, treatment history, or photographs through a website contact form or general email. Use the booking portal, patient portal, or call us for anything clinical.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glow Skin Lab and its providers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Site, including reliance on any information provided on it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for the professional care provided to you in our office, which is governed by applicable Texas law and by the informed consent documents you sign at the time of treatment.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
